Personalised Book Labels provide a neat and practical way to identify the books and files children use throughout the school year. They can be used on exercise books, textbooks, workbooks, notebooks, files and other suitable smooth surfaces, making it easier to identify the owner when books are misplaced or mixed up. Unlike paper book labels, our Book Labels are made from durable, waterproof plastic and printed using a wax-resin grade ink that provides good resistance to water and everyday handling. School books and files are handled frequently, carried in bags and used throughout the year, so both the label material and printed information are designed to remain clear through normal school use. We chose plastic rather than paper after comparing the two in everyday school use. On frequently handled high school files, we found that paper labels deteriorated to the point of becoming difficult to read after approximately three months, while the plastic labels remained in substantially better condition. This real-world experience reinforced our decision to use waterproof plastic for our Book Labels.
